My Story
Why I Wrote This Book
Inspired by triumph, personal life events and my brave daughter, Serenity. This story was an inner calling to create and share an encoded tale that would speak to, inspire and encourage the hearts of all
children, and adults alike, who have suffered inarticulable transgressions.
For the whole family, I hope you are to be witnessed and have modeled Life’s lessons in transforming hardship and becoming more of
who we really are --
individually and together.
For my daughter, who survived cranial surgery as a newborn and more, and to those like her, I wish you all to see that even the hard times can open us up to personal triumphs and everyday miracles.
To everyone in silent need,
I intend this book to be a reflection and source of support about trauma and reminder of how no
one is truly alone.
Consequently, this book is a love-centric, trauma-informed, parent-honoring, and child-focused guide. A guide that can summon from our children--inner and outer-- a sense of resilience and a deep knowing that, in the end, their light shall triumph!
